    The Senior Recruiter (SR) provides leadership over the recruiting function for our growth efforts in new and established regions and program locations that present the most challenging recruiting environment. Primary responsibilities involve creating and executing recruitment tactics and strategies that attract top talent and drive the best applicant experience. Collaborates effectively with Human Resource and Operations leaders to optimize the recruiting function for assigned programs and provide superior customer service.


    • Become knowledgeable on the HIL recruitment process so you can follow the process and make recommendations to improve process to the TAM.
    • Masters use of Applicant Tracking Software
    • Always displays a collaborative mindset. Partners with colleagues across departments to drive results and maintaining a high level of communication.
    • Assimilates as an integral member of the Growth Operations Team. Develops an understanding around for key timelines and milestones in the startup of new growth and repurposed locations.
    • Develops solid recruitment campaigns to attract top talent. Promotes our employee brand and effectively markets workplace benefits.
    • Focus on plan development for new locations assigned.
    • Provides proactive feedback on potential staffing concerns in new geographical locations. Briefs stakeholders.
    • Provide regular and consistent feedback to Operations and Human Resources teams on current staffing successes and hiring status as it relates to Program admissions or opening dates.
    • Assist in determining appropriate metrics for tracking department productivity.
    • Possess a thorough understanding of HIL’s wage structure and strategy. Sells the Company through the interview process.
    • Assist in developing materials to support recruitment and on-boarding efforts that project HIL’s Beliefs and Behaviors and mission.
    • May be required to train and mentor new Recruiters as well as coach others regarding effective recruitment strategies.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager or Human Resources Director.


    1. College degree required. At least 3 years of previous recruitment experience, preferably in a high volume or health services field.
    2. Effective problem solver who demonstrates flexibility, autonomy, responsiveness, and a high level of initiative. Highly organized with an ability to work under tight deadlines and with little direction.
    3. Requires effective verbal and written communication.
    4. Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver’s license throughout employment and maintains insurance on personal vehicle. Driving record must align with company insurability guidelines. Must be willing to travel to different work locations, meetings, and training sessions.
    5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with prior work experience in using software and vendor programs to develop reports, prepare documents, etc.
    6. Maintains self-composure and self-control under stressful conditions.
    7. Must be willing to work fluctuating and flexible hours as dictated by business needs, including possible evening or weekend work.
